Sometimes the sheer lack of common sense is astounding – at what point in this installation was it not evident to the artisans that something was amiss? Or perhaps the architect designed it this way or the contractor drilled the hole 10 centimeters from the edge instead of 10 millimeters?

Surely an easy solution would have been to simply source a tap with a longer spout. Ah well, until that happens at least the constant wiping of water from the counter-top will keep it consistently clean.

But not a hotel room! At what point in the design or construction of this bathroom was it seen as appropriate to have a glass door? Even with a single occupant, one would need to remember, if inviting a friend around, to mention that relieving themselves before arriving would be a good idea. Certainly, diuretic drinks would not be wise.

But what if it was your company that booked this room for you and a colleague? Every time you saw that person back at the office, sitting at his workstation, this image might return; not right at any level!
