The real effort came in cracking it, but these things are a lot easier to get done when the promises of riches lie in wait. He cracked the code, and inside the old safe he found $50,000 in dollar bills, a bourbon bottle, and a book named “A Guild for the Perplexed.”

This story involves a plumber who was doing some work in a bathroom that a couple was renovating. He was busy replacing a toilet, which upon being lifted out the ground, revealing a hollow underneath which had been crammed with gold bars. He excitedly rushed over to the homeowners to inform them of his find. Upon being valued, the gold came to $50,000 in worth. Let us hope that the plumber was compensated for the job of his life!
