Eternal Obscurity
The couple had finally admitted defeat. There was no way that they could solve this mystery after what they hoped would be the solution turned into just another massive question mark. Only the FBI would provide them with the answers that they needed as Kelly called the relevant number. They felt a sense of relief as they finished explaining their bizarre situation to an agent. They could finally stand back and let the experts do their jobs.

A team of FBI agents quickly arrived at the couple’s house and swiftly got to work. They seized mounds of evidence from the dark room alone, as much as they could grab, with Rick and Kelly having sneakily stashed everything of obvious value. Now, only Rick and Kelly, the FBI agents, and whoever originally made the tapes would know that they even existed. This did not bring the couple any comfort, however, as they feared what these tapes would reveal.
