Safe Bet
Rick turned his attention back to the safe. It was brimming with all manner of documents, all of them old, but some closer to our time than others. There were a few generations here. Inside this giant black safe was a myriad of notes and VHS tapes, as well as a sign hanging near the ceiling of the safe, simply saying “Do Not.” Whoever had owned this safe had made a point of scaring any uninvited meddling away.

If someone had wanted to keep Rick and Kelly out, they were not about to adhere to the foreboding instructions, as this couple was bullheaded. Rather, they started rifling through the VHS tapes, reading their strange labels in search of relevant clues. This safe was one big puzzle, they were sure, one which they were going to untangle and put together again. The couple did not even own a VHS tape player, not for many years.
