Macy’s priority was to get to shore as fast as she could, so she decided to abandon the bag and everything within it. But it was imperative that Jason examine the contents of the bag for himself. The wailing Macy would never let such a thing happen. After all that had just taken place, there was no way she would ever touch that bag again. However, Jason was not going to let it go either. It was just going to be a routine camping vacation for the Miller family, just like the many others that they had taken in the past. They were all by themselves, taking pleasure in the tranquility of the outdoors together. They had everything planned out, even down to the gorgeous spot where they would set up the tent for the night. They had a lot of fun planned for the remainder of the weekend, too, so they were looking forward to it. But as often happens, destiny had other ideas.
