Bitter Past Showing Up
Khan was a friendly and amazing dog, and it puzzled Catherine how his former owners couldn’t see that. Even though Khan only showed love and care, he was given the opposite treatment of abuse and abandonment. The poor dog could easily tell he was not loved but tried to overlook that and cared for his owners nonetheless. The day he threw Charlotte was the release of all that bitterness and anger.

Catherine believed allowing her daughter to grow up with a dog would be the best decision and looked beyond any issues and knew a dog would bring comfort. Maybe his past hurt would be too much bitter aggression for anyone to deal with. But, she brought home a dog that jolted her heart.
