This is going to require some water, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and peppermint essential oil, all stirred together into a glass jar. First, place your retainers inside the jar and then pour in cool water. Then, throw in a pinch of baking soda, a tablespoon of hydrogen, and a small quirt of peppermint essential oil. Mix this solution together and allow your retainer to be worked on for around ten minutes. Rinse properly before putting back in your mouth.

Yes, hydrogen peroxide can bust rust too! If your metal tools are looking worse for wear with time and use, the cleaning agent will strip the rust off in no time. Simply leave your affected tools in a bucket of hydrogen peroxide for several minutes. Next, use an abrasive brush or steel wool to scour your tools clean. For even better results, try throwing in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and borax for an all-purpose hardware buffing mixture.
