This can only be explained as an effective way to keep the water and heat bills down. Although surely, these kinds of cruel hacks do not belong in hotels! We have seen some seriously mean cost-cutting hacks in hotels, but this one is inhumane! You can bet that someone broke the bar off in a frozen rage.

One can only hope this poorly translated sign is the only case of translation errors here. While the thought is there, no guests want to be ”slipping carefully.” Note to hotel staff: Google translate just is not an option!

Or maybe this sign is warning guests not to slip and die in the shower. While there really is no knowing what this sign is trying to say perhaps the hotel is merely trying to avoid guests embarrassing themselves with clumsy behavior. If you must fall, at least do so with grace…
