After the video had done its rounds online, Jose was affectionately dubbed Spain’s very own “Hugh Jackman”. The video even garnered attention from a company that wanted to sponsor him to help him get back into formal accommodation. We’re happy to report that he isn’t homeless anymore, and has found a place to call home. Life has worked out for the better for this special man, who has stolen the hearts of so many people all over the world.

More recently, as this picture shows, Jose made the tough decision to shave his beard and to let his natural hair color grow out. This has led to online commenters likening his new appearance to that of some of the silver foxes in Tinseltown. It’s good to see him looking healthy, and to know that he is no longer having to wonder about where his next meal is going to come from. His story has inspired so many people to take a more positive view of the world.
