Chumlee decided to post on Instagram to show more appreciation for his fans and their efforts. the caption on this photo read: “I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to all my amazing fans that come and see me daily at @chums_candy – Thank you all for all the amazing love you show me”. You might think it strange that a man that had been arrested for holding drugs and unregistered firearms would continue to sell candy to children.

During the scandal, many fans were speculating the fate of the reality show. Would the show be canceled as a result or would it be renewed? Pawn Stars was a phenomenally popular show, and its millions of followers would have reacted furiously and protested if their beloved Paw Stars was taken off the air. It was difficult to predict whether the History Channel would cancel the show, given how silent its representatives had been throughout the entire ordeal.
