Concerns Set To Rest
Luckily, Chumlee was not doing anything illegal with the firearms in his possession. Although Chumlee had no criminal intent for storing the guns, you can be sure that not attaining the correct licenses for such dangerous objects would lead to many concerns for the authorities. Things would not have ended well for the star otherwise. This was an incredibly stressful experience for Chumlee, and for some time he was convinced that he would be facing jail time.
Pleading Guilty
Chumlee eventually pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of weapons, drug possession, and attempted misdemeanor. This was ultimately a decision that would help him avoid prison time. However, he was placed on probation for a year. You could be sure that Chumlee cleaned up his act during this period, staying well away from all illicit substances and keeping his firearm usage as legal and acceptable as possible. It was hoped that Chumlee had learned his lesson, and realized that he could not do as he pleased.
