Marie Antoinette – Papillon
Marie Antoinette and Madame de Pompadour, King Louis XV’s mistress, were quite attracted to Papillons, a unique dwarf spaniel. They measure roughly one foot under the shoulders with some wing-shaped ears. This means even if you are a block away, you can easily spot one of these dogs in the distance. Papillon in French means butterfly and even though they are quite small, it doesn’t mean they can’t serve the same purpose every other dog serves. They have no reservations when it comes to joining a new family and being good at sports, you will be surprised to see how much they can really do.
