Texas is quite a sunny place, which allowed Michael to carry out his desire to avoid conventional power. By installing solar panels Michael would be able to live off the grid. This was possibly one of the hardest parts of the entire project, considering that Michael installed the solar panels by himself while it was quite windy. Michael explained that “this was the most frustrating day of the build.”
