Poached Eggs
Poached eggs are a particular favorite as a way to spice up breakfast or brunch, but they are not so easy to make if you don’t have a trick that works for you already. Little pouches out of plastic wrap will give you a poached egg in no time.

Line a very small cup or bowl with plastic wrap that flows over the edges of the utensil, give it a layer of oil or butter, crack an egg inside, gather up the sides, and twist them into a pouch for the egg. Drop the pouches into a saucepan with boiling water, and when they’re ready just cut the wrap with some scissors and serve.
