Another reality TV show, The Great Interior Design Challenge features budding interior designers pitted against one another for an opportunity to win a major design contract. Each episode features twists where each designer gets a last-minute surprise with an object that they must upcycle and incorporate into their schemes. Although in a competition, the show also highlights how the contestants help and encourage one another while under major stress. Judges for the show are Sophie Robinson and Daniel Hopwood, who strikes the perfect tone with balanced mentorship and tough love.
