While some of the animals we’ve seen have been living in unused cars, this one has taken up residence in a vehicle that is used every day.

As you can see, this possum is living in this car’s hood, and the car is in an auto shop which means the owner brought it in. We’re not sure how the mechanics dealt with this one, it probably isn’t in their training handbook. What an odd image.
Burning Rubber
Burning rubber is an expression that refers to driving so fast that the rubber on the tire heats up and melts. This time it’s a little more literal. These photos are out of Australia, where it gets so hot, that the tires can actually melt.

If you ever find yourself in that area of the world, it’d be a good idea to always look for some indoor parking. Certainly isn’t as pricey as new tires.
