The average person would probably have immediately sought vengeance, but despite how furious he was, Dino managed to calm himself down after a few minutes. He was a generally level-headed individual, and he was not about to rush out into the night for vengeance. Dino was the kind of person who knew that revenge was a dish best served cold, awaiting the perfect opportunity. He would wait for Samantha to feel safe, like she had gotten away with it.

Dino simply carried on with life. He would fly back and forth between the oil rig, work incredibly hard and long hours, and occasionally hang out with his friends. But he had changed, as his friends remarked. He was even quieter and more reserved than general. He seemed preoccupied with some troubling thoughts, often spotted staring into space. He did not forgive Samantha; however, he was just biding his time. Eventually, the opportunity for revenge would appear.
