Going Too Far
Dino had managed to seal everything off like gold in Fort Knox, except for the other most treasured possession in his life. Even if Samantha had not been involved, Dino could have made more of an effort to protect his car in general. Obviously, the attached security was poor, with Dino’s friend saying, “There was no proof, but it didn’t take Sherlock Holmes to figure this one out.” Messing with someone’s beloved car is generally a terrible idea, as Samantha would soon find out!

The Dino that had kept a statue-like coolness during the first incident was completely different from the one now. Dino could not be calm this time. It seemed like he could tolerate being cheated on, but heaven help anyone who messed with his baby. Samantha had gone too far. Why would she try to hurt him so badly? It is because she felt like she had done nothing wrong. Dino would not take the passive approach.
