A Tiny Farmhouse
The couple purchased a small farmhouse in 2012. The farmhouse was only a two-bedroom home with an attic. However, the house was much too small for their large family of seven. Luckily, Chip and Joanna were not too concerned about the size.
It was the land that came with the farmhouse that the couple simply could not resist. The incredible oak trees that surrounded the farmhouse could easily have been the most attractive selling point. Chip and Joanna knew they would have to fix up the farmhouse, although, how would they find it manageable to create enough space for seven people in the tiny two-bedroom home?
Committing To The Project
The couple had no idea that the project would take as long as 18 months to complete. In addition to the big project, they would have to divide their time to take on other renovations as well.
Chip and Joanna stumbled upon plenty of gems while renovating their home, such as paperwork that dated back to 1895. There was no saying just how old the little farmhouse might be. However, Joanna fell in love with the fact that the house may have a story of its own.
