The busy Redditor soon started locating fascinating trinkets as he made his way through the abandoned homestead, saying that, “My grandfather was an avid sportsman and enjoyed collecting various firearms. And my grandmother was a collector of coins and other antiques and curiosities.” After just hours following his arrival, EvilEnglish dug up his grandfather’s firearm collection!
EvilEnglish proceeded to rifle through the possessions, remembering the tales which his grandmother would tell him. These fairytales would often include pirates and their booty, with the odd true adventure enjoyed by the old lady, despite being questionably fictitious. It didn’t matter though, EvilEnglish loved to think they all had actually occurred. He had no idea that he was on the verge of discovering his grandparents’ mysteries buried from the world.

The Redditor quickly commenced compiling his elders’ possessions within the dining room before making his way through the property. He placed the objects within the living room as well as the bedrooms. Things were proceeding happily, and the grandson made far better progress than he previously thought within his first 24 hours there. The cupboards and storeroom still needed attention, however. He was amazed at just how many treasures he discovered there, realizing that his biggest task had come to the surface.
At this stage, little that had been collected could be called priceless. Still, EvilEnglish reveled in this rewarding mission at his old holiday home. He experienced a stronger connection to his beloved grandparents. Finishing a long and rewarding day of sorting, the man headed to a bedroom, dedicated to emptying out the wardrobes the following morning.
