It is really hard to fathom that all the items in the bag actually held up while being kept under roughly thirty feet of muddy water for so long, that even the pictures, though slightly faded in parts, were mostly intact. And thankfully so! This was a key component in helping to recognize the owner. On initial inspection, Ben found store cards, some photographs, two tubes of lipstick, and a comb. Both the cards and the photographs put the picture together and made it easier to identify that a woman had lost the bag.

The Big Question: What Happened To The Bag?
The discovery of the bag resulted in so many questions. The first being who it belonged to, the second was what had happened to the bag and how it arrived at the bottom of lake, and the third was how long it had spent at the bottom of the lake. The biggest question seemed to be why the bag was there in the first place. The personal effects in the purse also made them want to return it to their owner.
